Project Details: Dixon Studios, LLC worked with Hadley Exhibits of Buffalo, New York and Chadbourne and Associates Design Firm of Boston, MA on the National Mississippi River Aquarium in Dubuque, IA. Dixon Studio, LLC work including the 35’ tall waterfall feature which was the centerpiece for the museum space called Rivers to the Sea. Our scope also included the scenic theming of a 40,000 gallon Gulf of Mexico tank as well as several smaller tanks highlighting the Mississippi River journey. The children’s play area on the second floor includes a child size interactive Beaver Lodge fabricated and installed by Dixon Studio, LLC.
